I actually managed to beat Emerald before the time ran out, thanks to the "Fury" status which allows you to get Limmit Breaks much more often. it annoys me when people say they are a final fantasy master...no one person knows every final fantays inside out....cept maybe squall of Seed....that guy has my infinite respect as far as his knowledge of final fantasy goes....
everyone has their own methods and i think you'll agree that everyone here has or will develop more interestign ways of beating emerald and ruby....but the most generic and safest way to beat the bastards...is with KOTR and Phoenix, Final Attack combo......
beating Ruby and Emerald is one heck of an achievement whatever way you do it.....anyone who has done it will tell you that...so anyone who can do it without materia....without KOTR....or without The phoenix solution.....then hey consider yourself good, great maybe ...but master...NO.....
No-one will ever know final fanatsy so well they are unmistakably The Master.....
