    Default Help?!

    I guess this goes here.

I have this banner at another site that I would like to include in my sig, but for some reason it always pops up as a link instead of the image when I use the [img*] tags. How can I fix this?

Oh, and here's the link/img if it actually works:

Probably because you're using an attachment from another site. Try hosting it some where rather than using that attachment. There are sites like photobucket and imageshack where you can host it.

Ah, I'm ver computer inept, so I needed to ask, otherwise... yeah, it would have been very sad.

Good. Then here's another thing I should tell you, the max height is 250, if your whole sig is over 250 in height, then it will be taken down. Also, the mods don't like it when people double post and say that they should use the edit delete button instead. Not that I'm trying to act like a mod, just trying to save you from having your sig taken down. Glad I could be of help, though.

And the maximum width is also 550pixels, so your signature is too wide, please can you change it? =)

Is there a way to keep the sig image the same, but get it to be shortened with tags such as [size*=50%] or something like that?

Use <img src="path to image" height="91" width="550">. That will scale the picture down according to the sig limits, whilst keeping it in proportion.

Thanks a lot for the help.

EDIT: I used to tag that was provided to me by... the person above me ... and still I am too wide *view sig*. Is there a way to fix this?

What you have right now is fine. No need for any more adjustments.

If you want to shrink it further, you can just change the values in the tag; each number is representative of a number of pixels.
