Honestly, I think the series is seriously being milked for more than it's worth, and should be put to rest already. This company has been remaking the same titles for a solid decade now, what with the countless Dynsasty Warrior remakes and the other series whose name I can't remember at the moment which has been around since the NES. Stop already, Koei.

You have no idea how popular the subject matter of Three Kingdoms is, not only in China but all over Asia. It's the literary equivalent of all of Shakespeare's plays and poems put together except all generations enjoy it. Three Kingdoms has been milked by Chinese for about half a millenium now since the Ming Dynasty, so I'm not concerned.

I was gonna do my History Extension project on it until I realised I liked it too much and would probably make it biased to hell.

I think the other series you refer to is Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I've never played it, they're up to 10 I think.

I dont know. If u can kill enemys that esaily it might not be that fun or of a challenge. Also is that slow motion thing in this game cuz some ppl didnt like that ( I liked it cuz I felt like I was in the Matrix.... in a game).

It's not that they are easy to kill, it's that there are TONS of them. I was playing as Sun Quan yesterday and on one level I found my self running around like crazy trying to find some freakin meat buns. I was in red health for about 75% of the battle. That's not easy.

In Dynasty Warriors 4 there was major slowdown when a lot of enemies were on the screen. I haven't noticed that yet in DW5.

i got the handle on it, i only got to beat musou mode wit huang zhong, guan yu, liu bei,zhang fei, and if there is wei yan, but i dont think u can use himn this time round.

and the slow-mo thing is in here.It happened tome on the last lvl wit zhao yun, i did musou.I think, its called chen or cheng du.Thatsa the lvl i got 2166 kills.

You unlock Wei Yan after you beat Huang Zhong's campaign. I haven't done that yet.. heh I haven't unlocked anyone yet. Haven't had the time to finish a full campaign. ;_;
