The battle system is fairly easy to use. It doesn't take long to grow accustomed to it. And once you learn what all the psychic powers and special abilities are you can navigate the menues fairly quickly. (Not that combat is timed in any way.)

This game was one my most frequently played games back when summer hit around my late Jr. High/ early High school years. Great game. Good times.
I loved Earthbound, I really should look into getting an emulator so I can play that, Mario RPG, and all the other games that I miss so much.
