12.95USD a month +1.00USD for each additional char, but dont think its like EQ, one character can change to multiple jobs, most people just buy an additional character to store items or if they want to play a job as a better race than their main

So what could the total cost be if you got everything you could?

you only NEED one character to do everything you need in the game, like i said you can play all the different jobs on one character, only reason you will need an additional character is if you want additional storage(like to store sets of armor) or if your main character isnt a good race for a job you want to play (i.e. one of my characters is a 75BLM, which is a tarutaru for higher INT and MND, and my other character is a 75DRG, which is elvaan for higher STR and MND)

Right. You can complete the entire game, and play as every job with one character. Second characters are often used as mules, as having equipment for several jobs at once takes up a lot of storage space.
