When Vincent saves Cloud, and Marlene finds them, she turns to Vincent and asks him if he has 'it'. He then holds out his cloak and lets it drop, and she exclaims 'unbelievable'. Why? I mean, I know she hides under it later, when she argues with Cloud, but why is Vincent's cloak (If that's what she's referring to) so important to her? And why would she think he doesn't have it?

Yeah, that was a really badly-phrased question, but it's the only thing that's been bugging me, apart from when the camera shakes earlier on in that scene, when Vincent grabs Clouds Geostigma'd arm, but I worked that one out for myself. *Gasps of disbelief*

Huh? No, what happens is this: She asks him if he has a phone, he shows his cloak which is empty, and the she says something along the lines of "unbelievable" (depending on which fansub you are watching) as if to say "get with the times Vincent". Marlene runs to Vincent because Marlene is unhappy that Cloud 'never listens'. Marlene already knows that Vincent is part of the crew before this.

There I hope thats settled. Im sorry for anyone who is bored of this debate at the moment, but I wanted to show what was really going on in such an obviously extremely important and symbollic part of the film (sarcasm).

I have a question... Why did Tifa cut her hair short? I mean in the game, her hair is like knee long but in the movie, it's shorter. Did her hair bother her? I know it's a stupid question but can anyone give their opinion on this?

Oh and um regarding Cait Sith, where's the giant stuffed mog he 'magically' brought to life? And in the end of the movie, Marlene is holding him like a doll. Is he a doll?

Tifa didnt cut her hair, the character designers did. Shes not a real person. So it has nothing to do with it getting in her way. I'm guessing the designers shortened it so it doesn't look too much like a game/manga style. They did the same with all pretty much all the other characters. Sephiroth still has two big lumps of hair sticking up, but it doesnt stick up as much, thankfully. Otherwise everyone would look like they use 3 tubes of hair gel in the morning.

I'm guessing they left the giant moogle out because it would look stupid. Cait Sith himself already looks quite out of place. At the beginning of the movie theres also a different girl holding a moogle doll. Theres no reason for it to be THE MOOGLE of cait sith, its just a doll.

I hope that helped in a strange and weird way.
