She's not on an IV. I never said she was. I said without food or an IV, she can live for up to two weeks (sometimes more, it depends). It's been 11 days.
It sounded like you thought people would die within a few days without food. My point was that with just an IV, you can live up to a month.

People can live for a while without food, that I know. However, water is a different story. It doesn't make sense to me that they would refrain from giving her food, but still give her water.

Kill her don't put hte feeding tub back in.I don't care.The family needs to let go now because she'll die eventually from an infection like my Aunt did when she was in that vegetative state.Which hit my grandma harder than a 10 ton bag of stones that was dropped fromt eh empire state building.
MY grandmother ended up better off unlike most people.But she isn't over it and she cries a lot.I mean she lost her daughter.

However, if she has been alive for ELEVEN days then she has been getting water. As far as I know, you CANNOT live for 11 days without water.
It would be cruel, but as far as I know she can't feel a thing.Starving someone to death just seems so cruel...
