How do you freeze what is currently on your screen and save it as an image?

Push print screen button.

Open paint or something and paste.

Hit the Print Screen key (Prnt Scrn), go to an image editing program, open up a canvas, paste it on, and voila.

you can find some apps that let you capture single windows/toolbars

try Screen Print & Capture 32 (last version should be 3.5)

Also. If you hold down the Alt key and press Print Screen, it will capture the currently active window.
