Well it's called fan art. Fans will do what they want with the pictures, and given there's a lot of lonely perverts playing video games, we get slutty and downright pornographic pictures.
The problem is many anti-Tifa sorts will use these fan images as 'evidence' of Tifa being a slut, which is just bull.
I happen to be a very avid fan art/doujinshi (Japanese fan comics) collector, and I've got plenty of images of Tifa that are very tasteful (and some that arent too. I just love the art style sometimes! xD)
That's very true. I don't think Tifa's a slut, but they gave her a design that makes people want to draw bad images of her. It's completely un-fitting for her character to be portrayed that way in fan art and even a bit un-fitting the way the game makers dressed her. That kind of appearance makes all those lonely people draw her like that. She's used in practically every hentai you could think of and it's only because of her appearance. I'd just ignore those images. Maybe try going to a site that you know that doesn't have images like that, like rpgamer or rpgfan. Some place that's basically censored so that you don't have to worry about seeing images of her being portrayed as a slut. Rpgfan has an amazing fan art of her.Originally Posted by TheAbominatrix

yeah, see, i never believed tifa was a slut because that would be jsut too easy. i mean, the one who dress like a slut is rarely the slut.
What we need to be looking after is someone with a red/pink dress with goldish blond hair who sells flowers. The quiet looking ones are always the biggest sluts anyways. Do we know anybody by this description in FF7???
Aeris wasn't the quiet one. Everyone just thinks so because she's pink and girly. She was the flirty/fun-loving one. ^^

Tifa's appearance is very "sexual" - capacious bosom, toned muscles, long flowing raven locks. As a result, when hormonally challenged fans decide to draw her, they sexualise her behaviour to match what they think of how she looks.
Tifa's a sweet, loving and loyal character with a strong will to fight for who and what she believes in. Nothing anywhere in the game suggests otherwise.
Aeris, however, often gets called "slutty" when the evidence is similarly superficial:
1) She doesn't look slutty, so that means she is
2) She had - gasp - TWO DIFFERENT ROMANTIC INTERESTS, (SPOILER)Zack and Cloud, which just proves she's promiscuous even though those interests were seven years apart
3) She liked Cloud, and offered to go out with him one one date if he protected her
Not a very strong case, really. Aeris is definitely more flirty and outgoing than Tifa, but neither is promiscuous. You mihgt as well try to say that Lulu in FFX is a 'slut' just because she's more flirty than Yuna.[q=AkiraMakie]i mean, the one who dress like a slut is rarely the slut.

We don't know whether they're virgins or not. Aeris had a boyfriend when she was 16; to some (mainly Western) people, this would imply a sexual relationship, but from a more conservative viewpoint (mine, for instance) there's nothing that overtly suggests she had sexual relations with him.
There is also a continuing, unresolved debate about whether (SPOILER)Cloud and Tifa actually made love on the hilltop, during that scene at the end of disc two when everyone has left the Highwind. I choose to believe that they didn't, but my opinion is as valid as anyone else's.
