    Default Sin City

I can't wait til this movie comes out. The preveiws looks so awesome. The only thing that bothers me is that there's about 30 "big-name" celbrities in this film. I don't know why it bothers me but it does. Its just not necessary.
So anyway, Is anyone else out there wanting to see it, because I feel like the only one. Everyone i've asked about it at school said they think it looks stupid.

    ...I CAN'T WAIT!

Seriously, it's easily my most anticipated movie for this year. Film noir, film noir! *implodes with excitement*

And I love that fact that there's so many celebrities in this thing. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.

Considering it's based on a Frank Miller graphic novel, and is co-directed by him, it's looking awesome. Plus, I've read one review, which was 4/5 stars. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Robert Rodriguez is one of my personal heroes. I've been waiting eagerly since I heard about this movie a year ago. *glee*

I'm definitley checking this out. It looks different, and that's something I've been craving for awhile. I'll be very disappointed if I end up not liking it; I, too, have been looking forward to this for some time.

Actually, Frank Miller didn't co-direct Sin City, although he's credited as a co-directer. Robert Rodriquez directed the entire film, except a scene directed by Quentin Tarantino. Frank Miller is just credited because Robert Rodriquez credits Miller's visual style in the comic as relevant as his own in the film... Therefore Rodriquez insisted that Miller would be credited as co-director.

Anyway, I'm looking so much forward to this film. I don't think I've been looking this much forward to a film since Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. Both Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez are brilliant directors.

My dad is into a lot of comic book series, and I know he reads Sin City. For awhile now, my dad takes me to see comic book based movies, so I'll end up seeing this one way or another.

I downloaded the preview for my dad to see. We will probably see it sometime this weekend. Probably after we get some new golf clubs. It has some awesome action directors. It had better be awesome. I don't expect to be disappointed. The Mariachi trilogy is great as well as Kill Bill and other Tarantio movies.

    *gets hyped*

It's been getting great reviews, so far. Either the Tribune or Sun-Times gave it four stars.

I think this movie is getting glowing reviews across the board. In fact the reviews over at aintitcool.com are pratically orgasmic over the film. But yeah, Ebert just needs to stop, silly decrepit old man.

I'm gonna go see it with my dad on Saturday, about as hyped for it as I'm ever gonna be for any movie.

And yeah, I echo everyone else's sentiments about Roger Ebert.

It's something different, and I like that. I've always heard good things about the comic series. I might check it out.

I met Jessica Alba a long, long time ago, before she become famous on Dark Angel, so I suppose I'll see it because of that connection.

It also does look very interesting, especially with its gritty yet fantastical noir appearance.

    Take care all.

I'd link to this site with a bunch of comparisons between shots in the movie and actual panels from the comic showing how close the movie is to the source material, but there are tits and as you know I'm interested in keeping this a family forum.
