Stuff like Akira but not Akira

There's some in my sig. =D But a lot of it is Adachi, or links to more Adachi; which isn't a bad thing. Besides the other sites that have already been mentioned, thats as much help as I can give you. A lot of the sites I used to go to aren't active anymore, or they don't work.

Animesuki.com is a big help for series that have yet to be liscensed stateside. If you're looking to blatantly steal what's already been liscensed though, you won't find it there.

anidb.info is a great humungous database of all subtitled (and some raw) anime, and tells you who exactly subbed what episode, and where to find them on the net/IRC so you can grab the eps from them, plus also gives emule links to get all the files as a last resort if you can't get the files from a nice xdcc bot in their channel or off bittorrent or something

EDIT: There's also boxtorrents.com - they share very large batch torrents of series of anime, and manga, and I believe audio and other related media too if I'm right. Just be careful with about your share ratio though if you intend to get lots of stuff off there
