Are there any fans of the Fallout series out there?
I really hope Bethsida don't tweak Fallout 3 too much...changes are needed after 2 was quite similar to 1 (but just so much better) but revamping this game excessively could bury the series methinks.

I think I heard somewhere that they're going with a real time battle system, which would kinda kill the battle system I think. Not that real time is bad, but I was kind of into fallout partially because the gameplay was still turn based, like an old school game. Oh well...

Yeah, Fallout kicks @!#. It's one of the better "old school" games out there. I still play it...even though i've beaten it umpteen times. I hope the series thrives, it really is a good game.
Fallout 2 at least is cool game, but you can complete it in 17 minutes if you know how..
Bethsida Softworks' gonna make Fallout 3 kick so much ass.

I've dabbled in One and Two for a bit and both were fun but a little on the tedious side. Building your character was for a me a great plus (my Fallout 2 character has the "sex appeal" perk :joey: )

I own Fallout 1and 2.But the first two for PC were awesome. If a 3rd comes out it most definitely had better have the same fight system as 1 and 2.
The Fallout series made a game called Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. I heard that ii sucked bigtime though.

I enjoyed 1 and 2 a lot and I still enjoy Fallout:Brotherhood of Steel (aka Fallout Tactics). My roomates and I still play it on occasion.
Fallout. Is. Legendary! No questions asked. Mutant rats, shotguns, flamethrowers, drugs, sex, Harold, extra toes, Super Mutants, Deathclaws, gambling, Power Armour, running people over, karate fighting, tin men, Star Trek red shirts, aliens, time gates, The Gatekeeper (answer me these questions three), grenades, groin shots, machine-gun nests, exploding bodies AND more violence, comedy, action and ferociousness than you could hope to see in any other title ever. It's like someone took everything awesome ever, shoved it into a game, then called it Fallout.
Respect.

I love Fallout! It's in my Top ten list of games!
Haven't played it for a while, though. I might go play it in a minute. Or maybe tommorrow. Meh, I dunno...
