My favorite team would have to be: crono, frog, and Ayla.
If you have the right techs, they can be a leathal team.
Forg and Ayla can use slurp kiss which heals your entire party, and crono with either of those two have very powerful dual techs and triple techs, and not to mention that each of them has astounding striegnth on their own.
My #1 team: Definitely Crono, Frog, and Marle. Arc Impulse is very powerful and relatively cheap. Can you say 4000 damage for 4, 4, and 8 MP? I can. My second favorite team is Crono, Robo, and Ayla.
Number one team:
Crono, Ayla, Magus. With them I beat Lavos on lv 39 without a single double tech. They just rock!
