JohanDarkStalker: So, as Knox said about what would happen in the army, I have something similar to suggest (if the staff decides action needs to be taken)

JohanDarkStalker: As I see it, if someone smurfs up, they deserve some form of punishment, but at the same time, as Snizz said, it's dumb to cast away someone whom we consider a friend on the first offense
DanieLoony: Aye, hence HOOTERS and Linus had usergroups designed on their antics before we eventually banned them xD
JohanDarkStalker: So, in my opinion, the sensible thing to do here is well, to do what you said happened to Linus
JohanDarkStalker: If he can't follow the rules he's supposed to enforce, then he shouldn't be a mod anymore
JohanDarkStalker: However, he is someone respected, and shouldn't be thrown away like an old tissue
JohanDarkStalker: Up to him to make up for his error and regain people's trust/respect that way
