I have never done the sock thing, that's grosser than gross...I had to use the seat protector paper thingys, that was bad enough, like sandpaper..what ever happened to the sears catalog that my dad talks about?...I was at work, the cleaning crew hadn't bothered to replace the toilet paper or the paper towels, and there had been 2 full overtime shifts since they had. There were 20 stalls, and not a dang one had paper. I've even used a handfull of leaves when I was out in the woods...I'll tell you one thing, if I ever had to use an article of clothing, I'd throw it away..poop is not getting anywhere near my laundry! :yuck:

Someone I know was so desperate to go when they were out one time that they dropped a log on a street corner...then used THEIR OWN (probably sweaty) SOCK to finish the job *shudders*.
As for me, I always check there's some trusty toilet paper around when nature calls. If you have enough fibre in your diet, I've heard that you can get such a flawless evacuation that you don't even NEED toilet paper some of the time. Now that's progress!

yea, and then when I flushed the sock it clogged the toilet which then overflowed onto my feet.
