The worst kind of crime?

I was wondering: what do you think is the worst kind of crime? As in: adultury, murder, terrorism, child molestation, etc. I made this topic because I noticed that the news was talking about sex offenders, and the news lady said that everyone in america believes that this is the worst crime imaginable. But, I don't think it is.

I disagree... murder can usually have some kind of "rational" of sorts, I can think of things I'd be willing to kill for. Sexual assault/child molestation is the WORST kind of selfish, there is only one motive for that... so, sexual assault (especially on children) is the worst form of crime.

I certainly wouldn't question that, I can too - but I think it's selfish because it shows a lack of restraint and control, as by a relitively simple action you are 'turning off' someone's life. Conversely, I honestly don't think I could really look down upon someone for say, murdering the murderer of their mother, but it's the murders over things like disagreement's in pubs and just over arguments that really bother me no end. Maybe's it's just the blind aggression I'm not fond of?

Rape in my mind is the worst, so yes I guess I do feel sexual offenders are the worst.

Why? It doesn't only damage the body, but it can severly harm one's soul(or mind if you prefer that). You are messing not only in this realm but in the realm beyond, in the parts of us we don't understand.

Breaking someone's spirit, in my opinion, is far worse then breaking one's body.

Well... probably child raping. I just can't think of anything more sick and selfish than that at the moment.

I look at rape as a form of mental torture. many people seem to feel it is evil to torture someone, even if they are out to kill you. But if you kill someone out to kill you it is many times justifiable.

So that is my take... Rapists are the worst.. and should be causterated.. it works on dogs(at least some of the time) so why not on people.
