Being wise comes in two parts: 1) having a lot to say and 2) not saying it.
Thanks to Starry Relm and Sphere for the Sig and Avatar (in their respecive order)
I see more images ripped from eBaum's than I do descriptions of spam.![]()
Spam tastes like Super Promoted Advertizing Mail. No, not really.:P
Spam tastes like raw fish when not cooked. When you cook it, it tastes good.
All life begins with a Nu and ends with a Nu.
There was an advert on for spam with people singing about it's uses, one was for putting it with salad for an anniversary, My Mother then blatantly stated if her husband gave her spam on their anniversary she would immediately divorce him!
How loving![]()
I was once offered some spam, but I had to refuse.![]()
Uninteresting fact. The word Spam, as we know it today was made famous by Monty Python, they'd have this scetch where everyone would say the Spam constantly instead of normal English, like a conversation 'Spam? Spam spam SPAM!' etc...Then went on to a scetch where they were at a resteraunt & the waitress is saying what they serve;
"Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam, ...spam spam spam egg and spam; spam spam spam spam spam spam baked beans spam spam spam...or Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam"
And hence Spam to signify any repeated, unwanted, unintelligable annoyance was born.
I'll now go back under my stone, good day.
Meats mixed together?
