No. Kerrang was a music magazine back in the day and is now a music station (as well). Engalnd has regional radio stations and national ones as well, due to them transmitting over an larger area.

Regional (For me): Century 106, Leicester Sound 105.4
National: Kerrang 105.2, Radio 1 (97.9)

In Canada and the US, I assume you have state Radio stations. Well, based on size the'll be our national stations.

If you just listen to there music, you'll see that there good..

If another person suggests I assume that bands are rubbish on the spot without listening to them, I'm gonna murder them slowly.

I even like pop bands, if that's what they are : Pop bands. Busted made two great Pop albums, which I enjoy.
Sadly, like Avril Lavigne, The Rasmus are essentially Pop dressed up and talk like they are in a Rock Band when they really are a Pop Band. Imagine Boyzone in Gothic style makeup and you'll understand.

How sad that someone can listen to one album and decide to kill themself cause of a natural progression of MOST bands. Lots of bands split. That's what makes them great: Variety

I don't think that's the problem. I think that the definition of Rock is too loose nowadays and someone is now telling you what is cool and what is not.

The "problem" with rock music is that many true artists don't like to think their music as a business, like the Hip-Hop industry does. Therefore, it doesn't sell because the mainstream crowd (those who LIVE with the radio on at all times) changes tastes too quickly. Rock bands who try to emulate Hip-Hop (the busniess aspect) generally fade quickly because rock music isn't as marketable like Hip-Hop is (clothes, bling, all that jazz).

In other words, rock isn't that big anymore because of lack of creativity combined with the public's lack of interest.
