It all depends who you get as the older generation. Get a gamer that has stayed with the systems and games, and you got yourself a great competitor. Get someone who played only atari and nothing else, then you will find yourself in a little pickle (maily the older person) because they haven't played that much games. I'm a tournament goer, many of the times, I win, and few times, I would lose, and the people I end up losing to were older than me. You see, it doesn't matter what age you are. Sure, if you play games a lot you'll have a high chance of CTS. This could lead to some complications. I'm in that 'older generation' you put in.

Not to sound stuck up or anything, but I have beat every single one of my opponents here, both young and old. The only one I can't do much on is online FPS games because of my poor computer can't handle the graphics as I forgot to upgrade my graphics card as well as my processor. I know someone in their 40s that play FPS games that I haven't been able to catch him lose. He prefers PC based games, and I haven't seen him lose to some punk kid.

Personally, I believe that the younger generation cant appreciate the greatness of the old systems like Atari 2600, NES, and etc. They give up because they say the graphics suck. They have to take it in perspective.
