I thought it was when limbs kinda just fell off, guess not. I got that from how it's shown in family guy, so I guess they kind of overexaggerated(sp??) it a bit. And yea, it wouldn't be that nice to have leprosy.

leprosy is a disease which destroys the nerves and hence you can't feel anything when your body is damaged and protect it, so eventualy it begins to fall apart.

limbs dont really fall off. its where all the nerves are affected and so all your fingers toes etc are numb so if u catch them on somthing or even set them on fire you wont feel it. nasty

I think you have to stay in bed for a long time before you get bed sores. My grandmother was unable to walk towards the end of her life, so she was bed ridden. She had to keep being repositioned in order to prevent bed sores I think. I don't really remember that well. Anyway, it'd suck to have leprosy!

This is a rather intriguing fear you have of Leprosy, Jojo. There are diseases I can think of that are just as bad, possibly even worse, but well, I guess we all have our experiences .
Leprosy is bad, though.

In House, this little boy got leprosy, but he thought it was a curse from a Oujii board, or something. xD

It can be helped with medication though, I think. It was in House at least.
