Sector 7 Slums Help

I am after help for my son he has started palying FF7 on PS1 but on sector 7 after fighting Reno ( and once Reno has gone off in the helipcopter) he doesn't seam to beable to do anything he just gets stuck on the platform and tries to run off it but just comes back on the other side, Barratt just runs to various places shaking his had and Tiff just stands there. I know it is probably something simple but can someone please help.

It is simple, but it got me on my first game too. There are stairs there, they're just a bit difficult to see and it's a royal pain in the but. I'm pretty sure the entrance to the stairs are by the center of the platform, so running around there should help.

Although in the centre of the platform is what looks like a control panel where which is where Reno set the bomb from so the stairs can't be there I will try to see if I can find them anywhere else.

Try looking around that area, circling the whole platform. It's either there or, now that I think about it, at the far edge of the screen (down when in overhead view, forward towards the television screen and the player when in side view)

The stairs has nothing to do with it? When you're on the platform, you see the bomb, and Barrets running around shaking his head right? Go towards the right hand side of the screen and Barret goes "over here!" he undoes the wire then you and Tifa jump on the wire with him then you land in Sector 5 Park.

Oh that's right! Jeez... it's been like 7 years since I've played that game. I really should start up a new game.

lol :P I'm in the middle of playing it at the moment, I'm juggling between 2 saves lol, I started a new save about 2 weeks ago, and I'm aiming to get everything on that, and a mate of mine has bought FF7 so I'm playing it through the same speed/same time as him to help him if he needs it.

Do you have to stand anywhere in particular as I was watching him try to do it yesterday and he went all over the screen.

Do you have to move to a certian place and just wait for a bit?

You'll see theres a wire type thing. you have to walk over it for barret to notice it quicker. Then Tifa & Cloud will both climb on Barrets pack and they'll Swing throuuuugh the airrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Weeeeeee

Another way to get Barret to the wire is to try to talk to him while he's running everywhere, and he'll go strait to the wire and say, "over here." Thats the way i always played it.

You have to actually go over by the wire for him to notice it. Speaking to him everywhere will just lead you to that wire and then he'll call you over. So I find it easier to go to the wire first.

Don't you think its a shame that the Kiddie's park gets IMPALED with metal *cries* Aeris cursed it when she said "I can't believe it's still here" I mean.. COME ON.. Aeris that's like the biggest curse ever never notice something and mention it unless you dont want it to stick around lolol. *Touch Wood...*

i never did like playgrounds...always got hurt bt yeh find the cable/wire thingy and jst action button it, it shud work
