    Oh fine!
My most loved underwear set is a turquoise lot with red flowers, they sound ugly but they're all pretty!
My fave nicks are black with sequin cherries on and pink ones with black mickey mouses!
Lads look better in navy and black boxers preferably Calvin Klein

Word. As a woman I can't imagine how recently period underwear was created, but apparently in some Indian and African tribes they still wear nothing, and no one thinks its wierd. Also, I read The Red Tent last year (such a great book!), which described how for the week of a woman's cycle back in Biblical times, all the women in a tribe would sit inside a red tent on straw and drink and eat cakes and pamper themselves, while the men had to cook, clean, and basically fend for themselves for a week. I say, why'd we get rid of that? I want an excuse to treat myself for the week I'm dealing with that crap.

I guess pants gave too many rashes on the genital area. Therefor we get something softer and to protect us from rashes.

Lmfao, I've only been here for about 2 days n a half now n already I think all of ya are completely nuts. I have to say I'm not one for actually reading/typing on forums, I usually just sign up post 2 or 3 then leave, n never come back, but EoFF has certainly caught my attention. I mean.. 2 n a half days... and I've posted about 20 - 40 posts already lolol. I'm beginning to love ya all as it is lolol. Keep up the good humour

Yeah, I thought that the general idea for underwear was to prevent chafing.

Not really - as you can see from the history stuff - it was thought more comfortable and healthier to wear nothing for centuries, especially for women. It is really only in the last 100 years that underwear has become a necessity, and only in the last 30 that it was really considered a fashion statement.

It would be pretty uncomfortable not to wear underwear, in my opinion, due to the various fabric of whatever your trousers/pants/skirt whatever may be =P Comfort makes Xander happy.

why do we REALLY need pants? i mean, for girls they don't hold anything in
I wear pants all the time.

And I would prefer not sitting on things that have other people's fluids on them, and not leaking fluids of my own.

Some fancy people call it 'sanitation'
