uh yaoi? Not to be perverted but I was wondering how a nude sprite scene would even FIT into the story line.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here this is the War room"
Yaoi? When? Where? Who? Which ? O___O I want to know about that!!!!
Flying Mullet was obviously being sarcastic. There was no intention for such a scene.
I love my Carys with all my heart.

With the Japanese, you never ever know. Really. =P
All yaoi scenes between Edgar and Sabin are 100% fan made.

The secret to a perfect life: (SPOILER)Play every FF game ever made!
Yaoi refers to a sexual relationship between two men. And it's actually quite popular in fan circles, as is incest. However, it doesnt happen in the game. In doujinshi, yes, but not in the game.
I believe the whole Edgar and Setzer deal was a side effect of one of the secrets explained in the "How do I get Squall in FFVI" topic.
Good grief... How easily we get off topic...
Before this devolves into a yaoi/furry/slash/poser model/hentai/squid related thread any further, I'd like to re-address something previously brought up.
It's not clear to me that the characters were actually changed significantly. The only examples I've seen cited about the Japanese version seem to hold true for the US translation as well. If it's possible, could someone please illustrate these changes by example? By example I mean actual lines (or paraphrasing of lines, I'm not gonna be picky) from the games, and please don't quote Skyrender's translation. I don't trust it one bit.
A leap of hope? Well that explains the name of her theme music. But I distinctly got the impression it was a failed suicide attempt. So censored or not, it was still there and made perfect sense to me. Can't exactly say why because I've managed to save Cid every time since... Which I'm honestly not even sure is worth it. But that bit about the soldier not liking her shoes... lmao.
