Simple Plan are watered down, maddeningly inane pop-punk trash.
Emo music actually has a sense of decency, and (in some cases) self-respect. Oh, and you forgot lyrical and musical depth.
Simple Plan are an example of all that is bad with the music of the world today.
I'm gonna agree with most of that. Not ALL emo is bad, just the Simple Plan crap like that. System of a Down rocks very much.

Simple Plan are also just whiny, whiny teen-age "oh my god nobody likes me I can't get a girlfriend its the end of the world" crap. I find similarities with good Charlotte too. Its just annoying music.
