It all depends on the day for me... And this day, I would have to say J.S. Bach is on the top of the list. (Not really a band, I know, but it's still great music nonetheless.)

    Yes.

I like too many bands to name. But I'm listening to a lot of The Mars Volta right now, if that helps.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

Hi, Simple Plan aren't emo, way to go with the blinkered attitude.

Simple Plan are watered down, maddeningly inane pop-punk trash.

Emo music actually has a sense of decency, and (in some cases) self-respect. Oh, and you forgot lyrical and musical depth.

Simple Plan are an example of all that is bad with the music of the world today.

I'm gonna agree with most of that. Not ALL emo is bad, just the Simple Plan crap like that. System of a Down rocks very much.

My favorite band of all time is Nine Inch Nails. Other bands that I love to death include....

    The Cure
    Pink Floyd
    Marilyn Manson
    Tool
    A Perfect Circle
    Mindless Self Indulgence
    Radiohead

There are many bands I listen to, but all those bands are close to my heart.

    I agree.

Simple Plan are also just whiny, whiny teen-age "oh my god nobody likes me I can't get a girlfriend its the end of the world" crap. I find similarities with good Charlotte too. Its just annoying music.
