    Default The Italian PM ...

The Italian PM , Berlusconi , owns at least 80% of the Italian media ! Is the Italian form of democracy simply a cheap charade ?

    What do YOU think?

I don't know how the rest of it works, but 80% of the media? That's just ridiculous, and dangerous.

Italian politicians are notorious for their corruption, he's no different. If you have ever seen the Italian parliament in session...it's hilarious, there's a fistfight almost every week, a farce. As for owning 80%, I think that is wrong though, he does own a lot of TV Stations & Milan Football Club as someone previously stated, but the stations he owns are the most prominent in Italy so it's just as effective.

Yes, well...yeah. 80% does seem like a lot. But so much control of the media is still kind of...dangerous. Isn't it?

    He's a really suspicious guy.
He grew up in a working class home
and then suddenly he just had unlimited resources
and went on a corporation starting and buying spree.
The italians should be careful when it comes to this guy.
A lot of italians like him, but that isn't really weird when he owns all the media.
I see clear parallells between him and Putin.
