    whats a good site so i can make a free website and it doesnt have this: www.something.domainname.com so it can be just www.something.com

    It's hard (impossible?) to find something like that without paying. That said, Freewebs works well, and doesn't give you a stupid 'domain.host.advert.com', yet gives you 'http://www.freewebs.com/ihatethings'. It's not what you wanted, but...

    Domain names cost money, they're fairly cheap but you're not going to find a free permanent domain name.
