    Default final bosses

so, you guys know the three-tiered boss before final kefka? i was wondering what you guys' takes on that was. i know the nintedo power guide calls them goddess doom and poltergeist, but i don't think that's what they are.

    here's my take:

TIER 1 - the big buffness of the figure is representational of kefka's grunt phase... IE him having to go to figaro himself, and "getting sand on his boots"

TIER 2 - representational of either the many masks kefka wore with people, or of the people he used to get to power. the demon face that faces your party could be the "true" kefka amid all that.

TIER 3 - this is kefka's lazy period, in the year after the world collapsed. he's basking in the light of god (that is, if god is that dismembered head in a shoal). hell, he has attacks like "calmness" and it's also the beginning of his ascent to godhood in his eyes.

you think this is at all on point?
    nihowma buffet? $4.65 please!

i have a Yoshitaka amano "dawn" art book for sale, only damage to it is on the corners, and that's from the convention i originally got it from. PM me if you're interested, and feel free to make an offer. i'm flexible. also mail me at lord_skeletor_1983@yahoo.com

    thanks!

You've got a good way of thinking about it, but Goddess, Doom, and Poltergeist aren't the three tiers of the final battle, they're the three Statues. Which kinda gets confusing, because if they're the three statues, I don't know how you can beat them all and still use magic until the end of the tower. But I dunno, maybe I'm the only one confused, and I got it all wrong.

i don't think that killing the statues should kill magic too, i mean they were drained from its powers from kefka, and if he didn't i don't think the magic should dissapear instantly it would have to have periods

The enemies in that final sequence are as follows:

The first tier is comprised of Face, Long Arm, and Short Arm.

The second tier is comprised of Hit, Tiger, Tools, and Magic.

The third tier is comprised of Sleep and Girl. It's worth noting that you can steal a Ragnarok (sword) and an Atma Weapon from them, but it doesn't really matter that much since you can't leave with the weapons.

    Finally, you fight Kefka himself.

The names of the tier components are accurate, strange though they may seem.

But you can Throw the Ragnarok, and if you have somebody with a Genji Glove, two Atma Weapons would be SWEET!.

Yes, but you hardly need the additional firepower to take down Kefka.
