The graphics on DoC don't look too good judging by the pictures. Perhaps thats just because they are early in development pictures.

Well, it's not exactly a secret, private, or on topic (as I expect your statement was about) but thanks for the concern in any event ^_^

I currently live in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

I think the graphics will be good (as expected from Square), and I can't wait for this game to be released, as it will definately revoutionise the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy is evolving rappidly on to cinema, cellphones, and different genres.

It is sad to see something so classical, be transformed into a modernised, materialistic scheme on Square's behalf, yet it is still exciting to see new and original ideas being created.

i hope its more of an rpg with 3rd person shooter in it but id prefer if it has the dynasty warriors battle style instead of random encounter

i hope it's not a first person shooter! it doesn't look like it is, to me anyways. i find FPS's to be kind of hard to control sometimes. i really like the way DMC's battle style was *_* I hope it's like that. DoC and ff12 are so different than all the other ff games.. i wonder if they'll still be successful.

The PS3 will be fully backwards-compatible.

Best First Person Shooter game I've played was Golden Eye 007 for N64

seeing those trailors...it looks like it's gonna be third person...probably sniper mode will be first person like in most games

but the expected year (from my sources) of this game to come out would be late 2006 for Japan

As this game has not been released as of early 2005, many details are pure speculation at this point, including its gameplay and genre. Many assumed that it would be an Action/Adventure game along the lines of Capcom's Devil May Cry, but designer Tetsuya Nomura has remained silent on the matter, and has suggested that many fans will be surprised. The game is due to be released in Japan sometime in 2005, with a North American release probably following at some undisclosed time in the future.
