Sometime in the near future, Square-Enix is going to hold a press conference, where they might make some kind of announcement concerning the release date for Advent Children.

In short, we've just gotta wait until they tell us.

I'm *hoping* the English-language release date will follow the Japanese one closely. This has never been discussed in S-E news releases; it's simply something I'd enjoy. It's unlikely that it'll happen, but you never know - after all, Metal Gear Solid 3 was released in the US before it came out in Japan, despite being a Konami game.

I'm not too concerned about how long it takes for it to come out in the US. Once it's in Japan, it'll be available subbed through Bit Torrent or somesuch. Of course, I'll buy it once it comes out, but I'm not waiting any longer than I have to for my first taste.

That's freaking Square's fault! And my stupid friends! One of them keeps making me watch the trailer and I'm like "ARGH WHY DAMMIT!?" If I get any worse, I've made arrangements for my death, dont worry xD

And as for the rest of you, use common sense. If it was coming out in a few days, we'd be seeing ads for it. It's not coming out on the 10th, no matter what random forum people say.

"Preparing for announcements about the release" meaning they haven't made the announcement yet. :P And there's no way it will be out in a few days, since it hasn't even been released in Japan yet. The Japan release date isn't known yet either.
