Well, speaking for myself, FF VII has nice graphics, but what I really like about it is the engaging storyline. Also nice are the magic system, the interesting characters, the subquests (chocobo breeding/racing in particular), the weapons, the WEAPONS.
I like DW VII a lot too, but my reservations aren't about the graphics. It's the endless, tedious way that leveling up and acquiring spells/skills takes place. Even after 200 hours I still haven't mastered every job. I like everything else about the game though. I can see why it's so popular: very addictive gameplay, fun skills and spells, sense of humor.
EDIT: Might as well ask since this is a DW VII thread. I know you can trade Sims between two different saves, but can you choose who goes in both villages?
I want to eventually make two copies of each of my two saves so that I have four. Then I plan on trading Sims between the four so I get the quota of special Sims in one of the four saves. I can do that, right?
Example: In one save I have 5 merchants and in the other I have 6 merchants. I'll trade back and forth until I get 22 merchants in one save and no merchants in the other three.
