They're more visible--as well as in-context--when they're out in the open among the rest of the threads, anyway.

Those just get closed anyway...I don't see where there'd be a reason to make a forum filled with closed topics.

Then whats the point of the general archive if they're all closed...
The general archive is of good threads. Why should we showcase inappropirate ideas? It's really common sense on what not to post on this board.

Apparently, the porn threads are locked away in the staff forum, for future references.
I think there should be one. It's be funny to see that your thread has been moved under a list of stupid threads. It might even help kill of spam in general archive. And they could just delete porn as they always have. Or whatever the staff do with it.
