    Default Sleepers Awake.

    Has anybody heard Sleepers Awake by J.S. Bach? If so, what did you think of it? Personally, I think it is incredible. It embodies the feeling of sleep. It is truly an amazing piece, as is all of Bach's music. If you have not heard it and would like to, you may contact me via aim and I will send the song to you. It's very beautiful. I love it!

    I assume "Sleepers Wake" is the same thing, in which case I have it. I think it's more of an awakening song rather than a going to sleep song, which I hope agrees with what you said, although I don't think it does (maybe I'm misinterpreting you). In any case, I disagree with most of the instrumentation (never was a fan of the organ), although I bet there are so many recordings of the song with different instrumentation that who knows, maybe there's a better version out there somewhere.
