I think a cameo by him might be interesting, but I can't see the point in including him in the actual plot. I didn't hate him in the game, but he always seemed to me to be rather useless.

seeing a full CG of Cait Sith, to me, would be hard to pull off...imagion a big marshmellow with tiny wings and huge forearms...and a cat on top of it...geez, these square enix guys have the best imagination
I liked Cait Sith . . . the cat. What I hated was that mog. If they wanted to include mogs somehow, they could've found a better way. I'm sure they could've come up with some better way for the tiny cat to contribute to the group. He didn't even have to be a playable character. He could've just "been there." In my opinion, I'd've been less annoyed by CS if he weren't actually "on my team."
It wouldn't help to just leave him out either because he's STILL there. If I met him at the GS and never had to deal with him/even know he was hanging around, I'd've even accepted his arrival to assist Barret in battle. As long as that would've been the last time.
Seriously though, the cat alone would've been a better character. I adored the little cat, I hated the big awkward mog.

I had to look at that thing for a long time before I saw anything resembling Cait Sith... But I'm actually kind happy he's in it (if he truly, trulu is) because I kinda wanna see what he would look like in cg, that's gotta be pretty funny... He probably won't play a big part, it's not a long movie really, so Caith Sith haters, no worries!

At least, I don't see that lame gigantic mog. That's a relief . . . and you can see the name Cait being cut off in the upper right corner.
I like Reeve a lot, and while appearance-wise Cait Sith might not be the most attractive, I sincerely hope that he plays a part in it.

I thought he was a lot of fun. He brought humor into the party. What's wrong with having a character with a sense of humor?

And by now, I think it's generally been confirmed that Cait Sith will appear in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Good, so that means every playable FFVII character makes some kind of on-screen appearance.
