Should I get Shadow Hearts Covenant?

Been looking for a new RPG and I heard Shadow Hearts is good. Any opinions?

Shadow Hearts: Convenant should be an after-thought to these two games.

I didnt enjoy Shadow Hearts but Convenant is meant to be vastly better. Im still not cosidering buying it

Question. While I still avidly support the purchase and playing of Digital Devil Saga and SMT: Nocturne first, is it necessary to play the firs two Shadow Hearts games to understand Convenant? When I'm done with DDS I might buy Shadow Hearts, as it is getting cheaper.

No Covenant explains the others pretty well but if you want to know even more about the characters you should get Shadow Hearts and Koudelka as well. They're pretty cheap as well

I found Kouldelka to be a pretty awful game, but Shadow Hearts is class. Should be getting Covenant sometime soon.

Yes, you should. Very fun game, especially if you've played the original Shadow Hearts game (even if Yuri looks... well, worse in Covenant) you should enjoy it too.

I've not played Koudelka myself, though I've played both SH games.
