We've gotten several candidates that has made an appearance in General Chat, and I don't see anything wrong with it. If it's an undeserving candidate, then I trust the committee to not vote him forward. The only thing that automatically removes a candidate is if Raistlin recognizes him.

edit: Oh, I forgot you already were on the committee. Silly me. Well, just vote for all of the others then, when the time comes.
