    is there any difference

hi just wondering i've had ff7 on ps1 for years now, but have just purchased it on pc because my ps1 has broke and costs less to buy the pc version rather than buy a new playstation so my question is are there any differences between the pc version and the ps version?

    THANX!!!!!

Yes, there are. The PC Version has a better English translation than did the PlayStation Version. (Example: "This guy are sick" has been changed to "This guy is sick.")

The controlls are also flippin hard to use... The minigames are impossibly hard now. I suggest getting a playstation-like controller to play.

I have a Logitech 'Dual Action' controller that works great.

Misspellings and mistranslations are corrected; that's about it.

The graphics are clearer due to the difference in resolution, and the vocals are missing from "One-Winged Angel."

I played the FFVII PC version, and the biggest difference is that the music sounds worse.

But it is still a MUCH better port than FFVIII was. Just about everything else is pretty nice, not to mention the grammar corrections, but those aren't that big of a deal.

Hey, just a question, what Operating System are you using??

Some OSs have problems with the game.
