Thread: FF6 FAQs/Guides

    Default FF6 FAQs/Guides

I made absolutely sure that there were no other topics like this on the board! Anyway, does anyone know of any good ones? I've already gotten as far as kefka's tower and have done almost everything, but that was YEARS ago! I want a thorough, complete FAQ with some great information on good things to steal from enemies and bosses, as well as when certain quests become avaliable, and accurate, complete information.

You see, I have already gone through nearly all of the game, I just want this to be a 'complete' game. So does anyone know or have used any great FAQs/Guides? I remember a site called 'Figaro's Castle' or something that I ran into here with some great information, but I didn't bookmark it and I don't know where to find it, so if anyone knows send over the link please .

Also, a good walkthrough if you know any great ones. Thanks a bunch.

Oh yeah, that Figaro Castle place is the best place for FFVI information on the net.

Also, check out www.gamefaqs.com for more FFVI faqs and information.

Gamefaqs is a great place, with a lot of FAQs, and I've looked at all of them, but I'm still in the deciding stages. You see, I can't figure out which one is actually the best to use. I've heard that DjellyBean is not a good one to use even though it is large, because it isn't that thorough and misses a lot of things.

Figaro Castle... Ahh that's it! I didn't realize it was a part of your signature. yes... that is a VERY nice cite. It's too bad the walkthrough isn't complete. Also it seems like some of the beasiary isn't complete..? I clicked on some links to monsters which didn't appear on the list from Gau's rage list. It's still probably the best site on FF6 I've seen... Very thorough listing of equipment, items, lores, rages, spells, everything.

Yeah, it's a work in progress, especially the walkthrough. I'm currently playing through and writing the walkthrough at the same time Glad to see that it's offering some help though.

I was playing thru FFVI with Dingo Jellybean's walkthru, and even if it is said to be the *best* walkthru in the net, it's incomplete. The guy e.g. didn't tell anything about getting mog before (SPOILER)WoR etc. If it really is the best, poor me. I'm not able to play FF without walkthrough.
    Damnit.

DJellyBean's is definitely not thebest. Neither is PsychoPenguin's. They miss a lot of details.. that's partially why I asked for advice on guide's because I was uncertain which ones were 'complete' and such. None of them may be.. I guess I may have to do it the hard way (compiling lists of stealing items, lores, rages for reference while I'm playing). I really don't like to do this as it's a lot more work but what can you do :\

Caves of narshe! It is teh best! Too bad it just lacks boss fight strategies. Everything else can be found from www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff6/walkthrough
    Or something like that.
    Damnit.
