Monkeys aren't funny

I agree that monkeys are not very funny. Bears are a much more funny animal.

Only when we belittle them and make them wear dresses and ride around on bicylces, right?

Only if it is a guy in a bear suit and not a real bear. Bear suit = funniest costume ever. I don't find real animals funny at all, actually.
