New Design

Its a bit strange and harder for me to navigate the japanese one since im not japanese fluent but the new design is refreshing, hopefully ill be able to understadn it better soon.
Any flash is too much flash for my liking. It looks nice, though.
How can u not like flash? Flash is an important factor for design >.<
After a while I understood alot more about the site and no changes were made to the japanese site in reference to news and such.
Takes longer to load and lags my computer. You could argue that my computer isn't good enough, though I see it more as their site isn't friendly to people on a low budget PC.Originally Posted by Alice
Personal preference. I'm more of a Photoshop + HTML kind of guy when it comes to site design. I have the Macromedia MX suite installed and I mess around with Flash for animation (and it's fun), but I don't like sites made entirely out of Flash. When I was looking at the new Squenix site earlier, I thought about how fun it would be to duplicate the layout in HTML.
Not to mention how ridiculously easy it'd be to duplicate the layout in plain old HTML. I like how they've magically removed all content not pertaining to FF or FMA from the front page.
