    Liberi Fatali. Good stuff.

I will do this. Nothing in my life matters except this. No moment in my life exists except this moment. I am born in this moment, and if I fail, I will die in this moment.

Lol - If I hadn't had the soundtrack I might not have known either. FYT, "Liberi Fatali" means "Children of Fate" in Latin. Most of the song is in Latin, although "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec" are nonsense made up words by Nobuo Uematsu. He created them as an anagram from the phrases "Succession of Witches" and "Love," which are the themes of the game.

Ive done 2 years of latin but i never knew liberi fatali meant children of fate???? i thought children was another word (pueri).... maybe there is more than one way to say children.

anyhows, pretty interesting stuff u mentioned - does Nobuo Uematsu know english? if he doesnt how did he make up that anagram??

if it makes you feel better, the latin/english translator on my bookmarks doesn't know it either.

From my 6 years of Latin, I do know that 'puer' meant boy; 'Liber' means child, and 'Fatali' is not even Latin. Fate is fatum or fortuna.

"Fatali" means "Fated," not "Fate." It's derived from "Fatum." "Liberi Fatali" means "Fated Children," not "Children of Fate."

Traditionally, Fatali is not in the Latin language. It's the same in One Winged Angel, there are many words in the lyrics that are true Latin. So where Fatali may have derived from the Latin word Fatum, it is not grammatically correct.

doesnt puer in its plural form mean children as well as boys? (just wondering)
