I honestly felt, that unless ladders and tables were used, No Holds Barred matches are just another regular match. I mean it's Batista and JBL, not necessarily great in-ring performers. Honestly, the match that will steal the show is the ladder match between Guerrero and Mysterio. Those 2 are phenominal in-ring performers. HBK vs. Hulk will be as boring as nails mainly because HBK will be supporting the match all by himself, Hardy vs. Edge might turn out to be good, Cena vs. Y2J might turn out good as well, but every other card sucks. Orton shouldn't waste his talents on the Undertaker, since all the UT will do is go up the rope, boot to the face, chokeslam, and tombstone. *yawn* Benoit vs. Jordan might have an outside chance to be good, but since there was practically no storyline build for it, I doubt many people will be impressed. Eugene vs. Angle also has a shot as being good, but Eugene isn't exactly in Angle's league IMO.

    My SummerSlam Preview:

    HULK HOGAN vs. SHAWN MICHAELS
Bret Hart is gonna show up and screw Shawn Michaels, disqualifying Hulk Hogan.

WWE CHAMPION JOHN CENA vs. CHRIS JERICHO
Eventually, Jericho is gonna job to Cena again.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BATISTA vs. JBL
    Same as above.

    MATT HARDY vs. EDGE
Edge will get his payback from Hardy, that's for sure.

    UNDERTAKER vs. RANDY ORTON
Once more, Orton's gonna have a taste of the Tombstone Piledriver.

    EUGENE vs. KURT ANGLE
I doubt the crowd would let Kurt Angle win.

    REY MYSTERIO vs. EDDIE GUERRERO
    Same as first two matches.

U.S. CHAMPION ORLANDO JORDAN vs. CHRIS BENOIT
I have a feeling that OJ is gonna turn out lucky again.

I think its gonna be like this

    HULK HOGAN vs. SHAWN MICHAELS
    winner: HBK

WWE CHAMPION JOHN CENA vs. CHRIS JERICHO
    Winner: Cena

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BATISTA vs. JBL
This one im not so sure about. I think that Brock Lesnar will return and either A) Screw Batista and cost him the title and then they will fued or B) Try to cost him the title but fail and then have a title fued. I thinks its gonna be A though.

    MATT HARDY vs. EDGE
    Hardy will probably win

    UNDERTAKER vs. RANDY ORTON
Orton HAS to win this. There is nothing at all for Orton, Undertaker or the WWE to gain by having Orton job to taker. He NEEDS to win.

    EUGENE vs. KURT ANGLE
Kurt Angle will probably lose . But there is one thing good coming up for angle.

[Spoilers] The WWE released their Unforgiven poster and it shows Kurt Angle vs. John Cena for the WWE title.[/Spoilers]

    REY MYSTERIO vs. EDDIE GUERRERO
Hopefully Rey wins and this horrible fued ends. I mean there matches are great, but the story is horrid.

U.S. CHAMPION ORLANDO JORDAN vs. CHRIS BENOIT
I dont really care about this at all. Hopefully Jordan wins. And they allow Benoit to get a Word Title shot.

    Legend vs. Icon
    Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels

Tricky one, could go either way. I'll say Shawn beats Hulk in a shady finish, and Bret Hart runs in afterwards to beat down HBK, so Summerslam gets a happy ending.

    WWE Title Match
John Cena (c) vs. Chris Jericho

No chance in hell Jericho will win. Cena retains, of course.

    World Heavyweight Title Match
    Batista (c) vs. JBL

Batista wins, goes on to fued with Randy Orton.

    Matt Hardy vs. Edge
I expect this one to be nothing more than a brawl, not a wrestling match. I think it will either end as a No Contest, or a DQ victory for either Matt or Edge. Probably Edge. Fued continues into the next Raw PPV.

    Undertaker vs. Randy Orton
Orton wins, goes on to fued with Batista.

    Kurt Angle vs. Eugene
Kurt will win, no doubt in my mind. Goes on to fued with Cena.

    Custody of Dominic Ladder Match
    Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero

I don't think Eddie will win (even though he really f'in needs a victory), because this fued should be coming to an end and Eddie having Dominic would extend it much futher. I say Rey will win, but then they will have one final match on SmackDown! with Eddie finally getting a victory to end the fued.

    U.S. Title Match
Orlando Jordan (c) vs. Chris Benoit

Orlando has been a terrible U.S. champ. Benoit must win. Although this match SHOULD be Jordan vs. Benoit vs. Booker vs. Christian in a fatal-four way with Christian picking up the title, but WWE is too stupid to do anything of worth with him.

Is that this weekend? Maybe I'll check it out, to see Jericho in a main event if nothing else.

Jericho in the main event? Fat chance. It's going to be Hogan vs. Michaels, trust me. And it's hard to be excited about Jericho in a WWE Title match when you know there's no possible way he's going to win.

What match are you guys more excited to see? I'm pretty much excited to see Mysterio vs. Eddie although I'm an Eddie fan and I know he won't win.

All this talk about Bret Hart and Brock screwing people is highly unlikely. Although it would be nice to see 2 new superstars go to their respective shows, I don't see it happening...especially since none of these wrestling sites have confirmed it. I'm talking about PWTorch and such, not WWE.com - trusting that site is like trusting JBL to put on a good wrestling match...it's just not going to happen.

    Just found this

Earlier this week I posted a story noting that Brock Lesnar could appear at WWE's SummerSlam PPV. The report stemmed from a report on TVGuide.com which listed him as appearing. I have since received a ton of reader feedback asking me to retract the statement. Upon further investigation, the names of Bret Hart and Owen Hart are also on the list. As it turns out, TVGuide.com tends to list any superstars who have ever appeared at a SummerSlam event on their website. Of course, it is possible that Lesnar could show up at the PPV but it is highly unlikely. The latest word that we've heard is that WWE.com was very accurate in their reports on the Lesnar deal even up until the end. Anything can happen and we'll just have to wait and see but don't get your hopes up.

As far as Bret Hart is concerned, he will NOT be on the PPV and we cannot stress that enough.

So yeah, it seems that neither of them will show up. Too bad, I was hoping for a lesnar return.

This one of the worst PPVs I've ever seen. Eddie lost, Taker lost, Y2J lost...

(SPOILER)Matt Hardy is gonna be released again!

(SPOILER)HBK shaking Hogan's hand better than Hart screwing HBK? Not by a long shot. I really, really hope this means that HBK is not a face again. His work as a heel this last month was easily the best thing happening to Raw. He is bland as hell as a face.

Overall, it seemed like an dissapointing PPV, but meh.

Yeah, it was kind of boring. I hope Y2J gets another shot at it.
