At first it seems kind of obvious. But I don't think we'll see Bret Hart in Washington D.C. this Sunday. I heard that Bret would wrestle Patel at SS, but that would leave Smackdown! as the only show to book the match and I don't think Bret Hart will be on Smackdown!, there wouldn't be a good feuder, save for Christian or the return of Mohammed Hassan (who actually should be wrestling Batista at SS for the WHC if not for his controversial character...which I liked).

I knew Eddie vs. Rey would be a match in the making at SS, it was just too obvious since they continued to fued after TGAB. But the fact that it's a ladder match makes my mouth water.
This SS looks to be pretty sucky, Now another card of Benoit vs. Jordan is being added. This is going to suck since Jordan isn't that great. It be better if it was Benoit vs. Booker, but no storyline developed for it and we'll most likely see Booker vs. Joey Mercury. I'm hoping Christian gets on the SS card, maybe he'll wrestle Bret Hart since he's peeved about not getting a match at SS...but eh.

At least as of last night, there was no deal for Bret Hart at SummerSlam, nor at least up to yesterday, had he even been approached with a suggestion or idea that he show up at the show. It wouldn't shock me if an approach was made this week. He is scheduled to do a Q&A at the NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Charlotte that would end when SummerSlam is beginning. Technically, it would be possible to charter a jet and have him do both. I doubt it would happen as his attitude is that he has no interest in playing a character on the WWE television show, and is even stronger that he would not do an angle playing off the 1997 Survivor Series..

You know what's funny? Canadian fans boo the hell out of Shawn Michaels for what he did to Bret Hart in 1997, yet they loudly cheer Hulk Hogan, oblivous to the fact that Hogan screwed Bret just as badly as Shawn did in 1993. The only difference was that Hogan did it outside the ring.
For those who don't know, let me explain. Wrestlemania 9 was coming up. The main event of the card was scheduled to be World Champion Bret Hart versus the 500 pound Yokozuna, with Hart retaining his title. Vince McMahon wanted Hulk Hogan, who had been absent from the ring for awhile and was planning on retiring very soon, to make a surprise appearance at the event. However, Hulk Hogan told McMahon he would only appear if he won the World Title. McMahon reluctantly agreed and changed the original ending of the World Title match. Yokozuna vs. Bret Hart still happened, but Yoko pinned Hart after about 10 minutes of wrestling and won the World Title. After the match, Yoko and his manager started beating down Hart, and then Hogan ran in to "make the save". Yoko's manager then challenged Hogan to an impromptu title match with Yokozuna. Hulk accepted, and then Hogan pinned Yoko in 35 seconds to win the World Title. Yes, 35 seconds.
Not only did Hogan take away what should have been Bret Hart's big night, but he also made Bret look like a total loser by pinning the man that Hart couldn't beat in 35 seconds.
The screwing doesn't end there. You see, Vince McMahon only agreed to let Hulk Hogan win the title at Wrestlemania 9 if Hogan would drop the title to Hart on a later date. Hogan agreed. It made sense. Bret Hart was the hottest rising star of the company, and Hogan was an aging superstar who was on the verge of retirement, so it was only right for Hogan to "pass the torch" to Hart on his way out. However, after Hogan won the strap, he suddenly went back on his word, and refused to drop the title to Hart, claiming Bret Hart was too small and it would hurt the Hulksters image if he lost to him. Hogan ended up dropping the title to Yokozuna before leaving the company.

Oh yeah, and the WWE are going to be total idiots if they don't manage to get Bret Hart to show up at Summerslam.
Ok, I have seen in my t.v. that the moday night raw after summerslam will be edge vs. john cena and shawn michaels vs. kurt angle. I don't know if it's true but, it may mean john cena won at summerslam, and so did shawn michaels. I think it a pile of BS, but it may be true.
Did anyone knoticed the new batista, that world tilte is ruining his mind. I hate JBL to win, but I think it would be best for batista.

Maybe Bret Hart is not happy that Shawn Michaels used the Sharpshooter on Hulk Hogan last monday night. Oh and the WHC match for SummerSlam is a No Holds Barred match.
