Thread: OK Computer voted top 100 album of all time!?

  1. #1

Unhappy OK Computer voted top 100 album of all time!?

Do you agree with this, there was a prog on c4 in the UK on Sunday 17th April about the best albums ever. I totally disagree with this choice. Don't get me wrong I do like some Radiohead stuff, but to put it above "Pet Sounds" and "Revolver" is quite barmy.

Don't see how Ok Computer is better than Dark Side of the Moon.

EDIT: And I wouldn't even put Dark Side as number one.

hey my opinion. I dont know "Revolver" is just pure Beatles genius, every song is a classic including the most catchiest chorus line ever "Good Day Sunshine" probably my fav Beatle song, and the weirdness but quite futuristic for the time trancey "Tommorrow Never Knows"

    Yeah.

I really don't care what makes the top 100 though. As long as I love the band, that's all that matters.

Wait, are you saying OK Computer was #1 out of 100 or just in the top 100?

That's the worst top 100 I've ever seen. OK computer deserves top 10, maybe not #1. The most influential album of the 90s didn't even get nominated.

Ok Computer was a great choice in my opinion, but it as easily could have been any of the top ten. I bought Ok Computer when it first came out any was truely gobsmacked by it, it is a true classic.

OK Computer was a damn good album, but I always favored Kid A.

I love OK Computer! No suprises is just one of my favourite songs by Radiohead. I have a few other albums on my computer, don't know the names of them, but I still think OK Computer is fantastic.

I like The Bends better than I like OK Computer. I don't think OK Computer deserves to be the #1 album of all time, in most any category.

    Signature by rubah. I think.

I can't believe Outkast's Speakerboxx was in ther top 100, and Keane's Hopes and Fears wasn't.

Nevermind, Jeff Buckley's 'Grace' is there, after all. The silly muppets alphabetised by first name... :rolleyes2

What Dido is doing there baffles me.
