    Samurai X Art

For those of you who've seen Samurai X, I'm wondering what you think of a certain thing they did with the art where they combined the image of real water with animated backgrounds. This was also done with some other scenery such as the blazing wood, and it appears that this was also done at some points with Kenshin's top. I thought it was a rather interesting thing to do, but I was wondering what others who've seen it think.

    Compositing.

It was pretty good, certainly a nice touch for an animated series, but it could have been better. It didn't look as clean and realistic as it could have.

    >>> Compared to other anime series from shueisha and shogakukan published titles, Samurai X anime is a masterpiece..

No arguments there. I like it a lot more than Rurouni Kenshin.

I thought it was pretty cool. I think they could of made a more emotional impact with drawn water, but it was still a pleasant surprise.
