What did she do? If she was nasty to someone, then she deserves to be banned, but if it was for something totally unjustified, like the mods were bored, then she should be unbanned.
She was basically another ff babe waiting to happen. She posted up to 7 times in a row, was a bit mean to people, and made a "I hate the staff" thread. Sorry, but the mods/admins won't be unbanning her.
That's a justified ban then.
She wasn't all that bad, but when she made the "I hate the staff" thread after Leeza had told her multiple times not to double post and she did it anyway, that was kind of the last straw.
The thing is, there is almost never a second chance in real life. Sure, among her close friends and relatives, but in a forum, specifically this one, she made an agreement on the rules, and breaking those rules repetitively broke that agreement, therefore, she had to be banned.Originally Posted by Furuba
Had she not taken things as bad as she did, she might have gotten off with a warning, but she did not. And your campaigning for her return is not helping any, as she has a chance to redeem herself in two years, assuming the staff agrees on it. Just tell her to blow off some steam, get a hobby, and tell her to stop whatever she's doing to annoy people. Because she is most likely going to stay banned in that time.

Not always. Like I said, I believe she'll have two years, then she can submit her case for being reinstated. Of course, all of the staff has to agree on it first. And if she breaks the rules and gets banned again, it IS permanent.

Temporary bans only apply to the Eyes on Eachother/Eyes on the World forums. If you break the rules enough times in any forum, you'll be permenantly banned from the board as a whole. This is rather difficult to do, considering the amount of chances staff gives a person.
Kathryn knew quite well what she was doing. She was warned multiple times, broke the rules purposely, and stated more than once that she didnt care if she was banned. Given that last tidbit, she shouldnt care now.
No, seriously. I got told that you could get banned temporarily, depending on what you'd done. If it was something like flaming though, you got banned permanently.
As I said, the temporary bans are only for EotW/EoEo. There are no other temporary bans on this board.
