Aww man, I don't have a PocketStation. Oh well, I guess I'll never get to see a Final Fantasy VIII moogle. It looks different...

VoodooChild, thanks for this awsome signature!
In Japan, they've always been called môguri, and mogu or "mog" is just an abbreviation of that used for the sake of convenience--in the interest of keeping ability names short, for example. Outside of Japan, though, they're called either moogles or mogs, depending on the game. All these terms refer to the same creature, though.Originally Posted by Yuffie514
Ok first up im going to say that the only thing i hate more then a moogle is a chocobo. Moogles are extremely ugly to me....but these new moogles from XII look awsome compared to the older ones. I also liked the moogles from VIII, IX and Tactics advance
Yes I was talking about the moogles just so we're clear. My favs were FFVI, VIII, IX, KH and FFTA.Originally Posted by Destai
I never really had any preferences for moogles, as long as they had a pom-pom they were cool to me.
The itching sensation is a good thing.

I don't like the new ones as much. I personally liked the moogles from FFVI and FFIX the best. I also wish they would do what they did in FFVI again and have a playable moogle. I really liked that.
The evolution of moogles, ah its great. It makes me laugh cry and want to play all those old games all over agian. It nice thanks a lot ^^
Everyday I wish that I could be the one, for you...
I lilke the new Mog look, they look really cool ^_^ its like they r evolving. Though they could get so much more credit for just saying they r a completely new species in general ^^
i like the new ones much better, they dont look so clumsy lol, but i guess they have lost that sweetness about them. however, the new ones just look god damn cool!
Yes, the beaver.

I liked the moogles in the FFV (Anthology) bonus FMV sequences, myself.
