It would be nice to have a unique personality, but there is a chance he could be a little like Zidane, considering they're both theives. But thats not really a good reason to give him the same personality. But I'm fine with just about anything, as long as he isn't another Tidus.

Yes, couldn't agree more. I really disliked Tidus, but Zidane was my favourite male lead.

Nice photos, this game looks good. I like the rabbit eared girl, she looks cool.
