What is Hypertext Fiction?
What does “techie black outfit” mean?
I want to be a Sorcerer who increases his powers by claiming the hearts or souls of his “gifted” victims.
I also want to be a Superhero. Contradiction?
I like to play certain sports, I hate watching them.
I had known at one time what “http:” stood for. I’ve since forgotten.
I used to know the value of pi. Infinite things scare me so I stick to the triple digit.
Fahrenheit, Celsius, Centigrade . . . I don’t even know the boiling/freezing point for Fahrenheit.
Fission = splitting, Fusion = merging
RAM = Random-Access Computer, ROM = Read-Only Memory
I don’t KNOW what “blue screen of death” means, I assume it’s a screen that appears before your system gets wholly screwed.
GURPS = (I have no idea, it’s not on my computer’s dictionary)
I’ve created my own Jedi name . . . actually, there my children’s Jedi names. I can’t think of one for myself. I’m undeserving of a Jedi name.
I don’t know what a Geek Code is.
THACO = (also not in my dictionary)
19.32939% - Geek
Just as there is a difference between Maniacs (short for megalomaniac) and Psychopaths, there is a difference between Geekhood and Nerdity (words I just made up).
Nerds are sex-deprived perverts who study hard in the hopes that one day they can rub their fame and success in the faces of all whom had walked all over me in high school. (lol that's funny)
Geeks are people who share an overzealous appreciation or rather an outwardly apparent insane obsession with one thing or another, be it world renowned or completely unknown to the public.
Nerds and Geeks share a few attributes, only one of which I'm certain: Nerds and Geeks like to use big words a lot. Whether this is in effort to sound smarter or to just confuse the hell out of everyone else or whether it's just a force of habit is beside the point. For most, this occurs a lot.
