How long will this game still live ?

Cuz I don't expect myself to be able to get this before I make some money and get my own PC.
Which will take at least another 3 years or so ...

Will this game still live by then and will it be possible to catch back up with the mainstream gamers ?

In my opinion, this game will take awhile to drop off. Even Ultima Online and Everquest have been around forever (I think over 8 years?). Square-Enix seem to be keeping good maintenance on the game and supplying regular updates. Hell, they've only bought out two expansions - I'd say they still have a fair bit more up their sleeves.

Great, I'm gonna play if there are 500 people or 5000, but it'd be great if all of you guys would still be here, Omecle, Lionx, Grand Lethal.
