Someone made me listen to some of her music, and I did not like it. Especially sk8ter Boi. It was absolutely vomitous.
As i can see most hate Avril's music of her first cd..

No, I think most people hate all of her music, not just the first CD.
Just that all her most prominent songs were off the first CD, the second was just as mediocre but less "hyped".
I remember a time when everyone...EVERYONE would sing "Complicated". Argha. I bought her CD then, because I was oh-so-cool, wasn't I?
I bought a pirated copy for 10 bucks, though. Don't tell anyone! ^.^
Her first CD totally sucked,but the second one is a little better.
I think she is beautiful but she is not "the voice".The only songs that i like:Nobody's Home,Slipped Away.
And Complicated is one of the worst songs i have ever heard,not to mention about its clip.

She isn't that hot. Any attractiveness is just the large amount of make-up she piles on her face. Without it, she looks like Axl Rose, but worse.

Not many of us can honestly say we look alright without our make up (by that I mean my fellow females), so yeah she is pretty fugly without it, but I am too so I wont complain xD. 100 dollar make up applied by professionals does wonders.
Skater chick = chick who skateboards.
I think there's more to it than the act of skateboarding, my sister uses
my board every once in a while but she doesn't wear retarded bracelets
made of the top part of socks or stuff with studs in it.
The whole "sk8er" thing is just silly in my opinion, that's really what I'm
getting at I guess.
I just hate fashion in general. An art so repulsive it must be changed every
few days. Bleh.
But yeah, I know a huge number of girls who are extremely pretty without
makeup. The fact that they refuse to wear it just makes them so much
hotter.

There's the style aspect as well, but usually when one says 'skater', they're refering to someone who skateboards.
Most men dont find women attractive without make up. Some do. Many women dont look good without it. Some do. Avril is a prime example of one who doesnt.
